I hear this question asked often or used as a metaphor by speakers at conferences. The obvious answer and that I have always heard is half full - this records that you are a positive thinker, an optimist always looking on the bright side.
But can we see this question a different way, I think so! I now say my glass is half empty because to say it is half full suggests to me that you are satisfied with this situation. Well I'm not satisfied with half a glass....I want to get it filled up and I am ambitous and determined to see it full!
What do you think is the best answer to this question?
